Jeffrey Sirody , P.C.
Jeff Sirody graduated from the George Mason University School of Law in 1991 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar shortly thereafter. In February, 1992, Jeff opened his own bankruptcy law firm, the Law Offices of Sirody & Ruben Bankruptcy Center, P.A. Since then, Jeff has been a leading bankruptcy attorney in Baltimore, Maryland, serving countless numbers of people facing financial hardship.
Jeff’s practice concentrates in consumer bankruptcy law. He is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland.
Mr. Sirody lives in Baltimore with his family. He enjoys sports, including golf and tennis, and he is also an avid music buff.

David Ruben , Esquire
David Ruben is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, and has lived and worked in the Baltimore Metropolitan area since 1989. He is a husband and father of three children. Mr. Ruben inherited his strong work ethic and sense of compassion for those in need from his father and hero, a pharmacist, who owned and operated an independent drug store in Washington DC for nearly 40 years.
With an undergraduate degree in finance and economics and as a doctor of jurisprudence, Mr. Ruben has combined his experience, knowledge, talent and expertise to represent Maryland residents with skill and dedication in a wide variety of areas of the law. Nicole Novak , Esquire
Nicole P. Novak graduated magna cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law in 2006. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland (2018) and Ohio (2006). Before law school, Nicole worked her way through college as a foreclosure paralegal, graduating cum laude with a degree in Urban Affairs Management.
Nicole’s practice focuses on consumer bankruptcy law with an emphasis on Chapter 13. She has worked for trustees, creditors, and debtors. With this diverse legal experience, Nicole has a unique understanding of bankruptcy and its ability to benefit consumers. She passionately uses her skills to help others improve their finances and their lives.
Nicole serves as the contributor to the Maryland section of the nationally published Bankruptcy Exemption Manual. She is a frequent author and speaker on bankruptcy law. She is a current member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, the NACTT Academy, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Maryland State Bar Association and Consumer Bankruptcy Section, and the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association.
Since 2000, Nicole has visited Maryland several times a year to spend time with her family. She finally made the move to Maryland in 2017. Nicole is an animal lover who has never met a dog, cat, or bird that she hasn’t liked. She enjoys travel, trips to zoos and aquariums, trying new restaurants, and going out with family and friends.

Sue Turner , Esquire
Attorney Susan E. Turner was born in Massachusetts and has been a resident of Maryland for 16 years.
She graduated from American University in 1997 and from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2000. Upon graduation she clerked for the Honorable Richard Rombro in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Thereafter she handled literally thousands of cases representing Children in Need of Assistance (CINA) as an attorney for the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. We were very fortunate to hire Ms. Turner in 2005 and she has been with us ever since, handling family law cases, criminal and traffic cases and bankruptcy matters.

Christopher McGrady , Esquire
Christopher McGrady graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 1999. He has been licensed to practice law in Maryland since 2000. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1993 with a degree in Psychology.
Chris has been active in the Maryland bankruptcy community for many years. He has been practicing bankruptcy law since 2001. Early in his career, Chris represented banks, credit unions, and other lenders. Chris changed his focus after a few years, using what he learned from representing creditors to help people eliminate debt. He works hard to save people from garnishments, repossessions, and foreclosure.
Chris was born and raised in Bowie. He is a true Marylander who loves being on the water. When Chris is not at work, he enjoys traveling with his family and especially enjoys spending time outdoors with his two sons.

Susan Land , Esquire
Susan Land has been practicing law for over 25 years. In November of 2020, she joined the Ruben Law Firm as the lead attorney of the Will Preparation and Estate Planning Division. Her warm and friendly nature in addition to her many years of teaching and practicing law allows clients to be confident in her ability to craft a plan for their future. Susan has been deeply involved in the law community for many years. Over the past two decades she has held many leadership roles across various councils, committees, and associations, inspiring others and providing invaluable knowledge and perspective to her colleagues. She was born and raised in Baltimore and now lives in Columbia.
In her free time, Susan enjoys cooking, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
